TMD Pain Management
Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD) is caused by temporomandibular joint, facial muscles and bite problems. Symptoms include; pain during movement of the face and jaw joint, locking of jaw, jaw joint grinding or clicking sounds upon movement of the jaw, teeth pain, neck pain, back pain and chronic headaches or migraines. Patient symptoms can range from mild to severe and the treatment recommended will vary. Some of the treatment options include removable appliance therapy, physical therapy, orthodontics and even Botox.
